And here we are! Pearland Tx! So what if the delivery truck hasn't shown up yet, and my car won't be here for another week or so.. we are still having a great time with this new adventure. Setting up joint bank accounts, exploring "our" grocery stores, buying new apartment stuff, and just enjoying the view off the balcony. Speaking of which, enjoy some pictures!
12/28/05:Prescious Painted Rock
So the Razzano family christmas party was a success! We had a great time with the family, and I was exposed to the "White Elephant" game. In brief explanation, you bring a crappy gift...pick a number, then choose/steal gifts from one another until the numbers are gone. You basically try to end up with the best terrible gift out of the group. Naturally, out of all the gifts I wanted the rock painted red by Dana when she was a little girl. It even came with a bonus "Fragile" sticker attached to it. I figured it would be a nice addition to the apartment, but in the end, it wasn't meant to be. I did walk away with a rockin' Celtic tape! I would post the pictures, but I'm not on my PC, and probably won't do much with this site till I am settled in Texas. This a good example of random tangents when trying to make a clear point... which I honestly am too tired to remember what it was in the first place.... goodnight.
12/27/05:Rock & Roll baby
One hell of a Christmas this year. I arrived home last Thursday at 4:30pm, had dinner with Dana and her family at my parents place, movers came Friday, went out to dinner at the Charlton House with Dana and her family that night, Grandma came into town Saturday, Christmas kicked butt, Dana and I claimed the puzzle championship of 2005 while Tracy sabotaged her team, Monday some of the Palmisano crew came up to visit and fire off a round or two, then Dana and I went to see the Tran Siberian Orchestra in Albany. It has been one hell of a busy holiday season, but every minute of it a good time. Below is a link to the Sheehan/Razzano family get together Friday night. I would post some more stuff but I am training my NY replacement this week, and allowing him to "take over" my PC here.

12/21/05:Uno mas dia!
One more day on this visit and I'm headed home. So far so good I must say, Texas has treated me well this week. I am extremely excited about the move, but first things first... like Christmas!
A quote from Johnny Damon:
"There's no way I can go play for the Yankees, but I know they're going to come after me hard," he said on May 3. "It's definitely not the most important thing to go out there for the top dollar, which the Yankees are going to offer me. It's not what I need."
Needless to say, yesterday the yankees welcomed Johnny as their new Center fielding, leadoff batting, $52 million over 4 years paid employee.

12/16/05: Let's get Physical!
Hello from Texas! I'm going to keep this brief due to the fact that I have to VPN to update this... but I have to say this place is great!! The people are almost TOO nice here, and it is 40 degrees and they complain about it being cold. I only have a few pics, one of part of the plant, one of the building I work in, and one of my brand new office. No decorations yet, but it still is sweet.
12/14/05: Leavin' on a jet plane
Off to Texas for a week, then back for Christmas and to swoop a beautiful young lady up and take her with me. I honestly don't think I have been this happy in a long time, and rightfully so. I was told a few months ago that I seemed "to really like myself now"... It was said in a melodramatic, insulting sorta way but looking back on it, it's such a compliment. I found someone who lets me "like myself" and following the transitive laws, makes me love her that much more. I am going to miss my friends here in NY, and especially family, but the comfort of having a best friend with me to make it thru helps ease that a bit. I'll be back the 22nd... see ya then.

12/13/05: I'm dumb
So I decided to eat soy nuts tonight, whatever the hell those are. I don't think I will be doing that again. Eat enough and I promise you won't want to either.

12/12/05: Excited? Check!
21 days... that's all that is left. there will be few "posts" on this site in the coming days because I am going to be a busy boy. Headed off to Houston thursday for a week to check out some of the resort-like apartments they have. Dana and I packed up her stuff today and moved it into the storage bin with mine, and everything gets along fine. We decided to leave the 2nd so we can enjoy the trip across country, and possibly stop to see her bro. It will be nice the first time we walk thru the door and just relax a bit... but enough of that.
Saturday was a fun filled day with Anastasia and Lauren (2 five year olds Dana has babysat for a while). We went up to see the Nutcracker at the Egg in Albany. Of course we fed them Lollipops and candy canes before going in, then gave them M&M's at intermission to really top them off. Overall it was a great time. I'll put a couple pictures below.... like.. umm now?
My dad has a kick ass winter hat that Dana wanted to try on too, and being the photo-nerds that we are we had to take a couple shots...
She kicks ass...Nuff said.
12/9/05: Code till it snows
3 hours, 2 asprin, 2 cups of coffee, and hopefully a 20/20. I programmed my final program for class tonight and it wasn't fun, although it works better then expected. As useless as they may be in the end, my teacher is good at getting you to use different concepts and processes. Now the final and I can relax on my way thru the bible belt!
It's snowing like a mofo out. And if you have ever seen a mofo snow you know... so yeah. I took the Tuscani out to RJ and had some fresh powder to careem thru. I have to say it's nice to look at, but it isn't something I will miss too much about NY. Something about walking out of our apartment into 60 degree weather in January to see nothing but palm trees and green grass that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.
The new fad of "Video Karaoke" is slowly dumbing-down the world. Need examples? Ok:
Enough of that...
12/7/05: Mmm Porridge

I don't know what that is all about either, but it's making him happy so I thought I would share.
So classes are over for the week, and now I can concentrate on the process of hiring movers and someone to ship my car to Texas. Speaking of which I am in the wrong business. If I can charge $900 to put someone's car on a truck and drive it across country in 2 days, I am there. I'm sure Dana would tag along and sing random songs to me while Bailey puked the whole trip.
Pfft: Remember Donkey Lips from Salute Your Shorts? He's even on Myspace.

12/6/05: Damn you Katrina!
It's 4:30am... and I am exhausted. Tons of pictures from tonight but I am refraining from posting them due to the fact that I am drained from studying Cisco Networking and C++. Just two from before the Quarter Century Banquet tonight and I'm gone.
12/5/05: Bovie's back
So Jon Molik is back in town from Iraq, and doing quite well. Dana and I went to his coming home party this past weekend then out to Saratoga with everyone. Had one hell of a good time I must say, and it was great to see everyone again. I forgot to bring my camera like an idiot, but we have one picture so far from before we left, still waiting on the images from downtown.
Damn right she's gorgeous...
Being that my time is short lived as a New Yorker, I will try my best to get together with my friends. I fly down next week to check out the area, find a place to live, buy a cowboy and cowgirl hat... the usual. We are looking at a place called Pearland which seems to be a really nice town. Just a little bit outside of Houston, so the city life will be accessible. I have had a lot of people ask me if we are nervous, and I can honestly say that we couldn't be more excited! We certainly will miss our friends, and especially our families dearly. I couldn't ask for better parents then I have and I'm not just saying that as a generic Hallmark moment. So that is certainly a down side, but I could never imagine myself reaching 27 and still living with the parents... regardless of how cool they are :)
12/2/05: Merry Christmas Month!
Not only is it December, and not only is it the weekend, but Monday is the Corporate Christmas Party at the Hall of Springs in Toga! This year are allowed to bring a date with us, meaning not only will my Mother be going with my Dad, but Dana will be going with me. Fun will be had by all :)
In honor of the season, I plan on randomly lending money to a friend, and never get it back in return... out of the goodness of my heart. Cuz I seem to be a sucka!
Anywho, check out this site. Kinda scary but nice to know I guess. It searches your area and gives you a local map with the location of any sex offenders in your town... pictures and all.
